All my photos that I have taken for this project have been taken at my house, as previously stated I wasn’t too bothered where I took these photos, as I was going to edit the background in each photo and make it white. Although I did take most of my photos in front of a white sheet, this was so it made it easier for me to use the magic wand tool in Photoshop. I used various props in my photos such as shopping bags, a tambourine, a flute and a guitar. All of which had their own purpose for example the photo of the guitar was used for a “win a signed guitar” competition. I also used models appropriate to the relevant storyline. I used a young lady for the front of my cover who posed as “Madison-Ruby” who is suggested to be a new artist who is storming through the charts. I also used a male to pose as Madison-Ruby’s “boyfriend” who is also an artist “Justin”. Finally I captured a photo of two girls, members of “Two of a Kind” making music, which I think really suits the atmosphere of the magazine as it is a music/gossip magazine.
